No longer just the domain of eBay and charity shops Melvin Ingram Miami Dolphins Squared shirt . The second hand clothing market is experiencing a kind of renaissance. Manufacturers and designers are only just beginning to explore the sustainable fashion possibilities of 3D printing, but it could play a key role in transforming the industry. One innovation could be in printing fabric to exactly the size and shape needed, eliminating the waste created when rolls of fabric are cut up for patterns. 3D printing could also play a huge role in making custom-fit clothing more affordable, which would in turn eliminate the waste created by shipping and returns. Alongside the growth of the luxury resale market has been the birth of the luxury rental market. Since their 2009 launch Rent the Runway, which rents luxury fashion items to subscribers at a fraction of their retail prices, has racked up nine million members, and paved the way for a new way to enjoy fashion. Other brands and retailers have followed suit, including fellow high-end names like Bloomingdale’s as well as high street chains like Urban Outfitters. The changes needed to make an entire manufacturing and supply chain process sustainable are by no means simple or speedy, so brands and retailers are looking at what more immediate solutions are available. One option is to offset their carbon output: Luxury conglomerate Kering has announced their intention to carbon offset on behalf of all of their brands; shoe brand Allbirds have implemented a carbon tax on themselves and Gucci recently announced that they are carbon neutral across the whole business thanks to offsetting. While carbon offsetting doesn’t address the route cause of fashion’s pollution problem, it is one way to acknowledge the industry’s responsibility for the impact is has. Good outside work T-shirt
Bought these for working in my yard. They are just the right size (XL) and length. On me, the hem is down to the bottom of the front pocket openings on my jeans and the fit is slightly loose, not figure hugging.
I’m not sure what the definition of “heavy” is supposed to be. These seem to feel slightly thicker than the Hanes or Fruit of the Loom multi-pack white T-shirts you can buy at your local supermarket, but you can still easily see through them when held up to a sunny window, for example.
I waited to do this review until one shirt was washed to record the amount of shrinkage and see how the texture changed. New, they are almost silky in feel. Very nice. Once washed, they lose that and become slightly rougher, like any other T-shirt. After one wash, as shown by the photo of washed over top of new, they have lost maybe 1″-1.5″ on length, but the width change was minimal and the fit is still a loose XL. The color faded slightly also.
It’s a T-shirt and it’ll meet my intended use, but I wouldn’t say they were “special”

Great quality, but order a size up.
After an inspection of the clothing they appear to be made quite well. There were no openings in the seems, no loose/unraveling threads, no tears, or stains.
Unfortunately, even with measuring myself before ordering, they did not fit. I ordered medium, in accordance to their sizing chart, but it felt much too tight. Almost like it was trying to be a muscle shirt. So, order a size bigger and you should be good there.
Finally, I learned I don’t like “heavy cotton.” A lot of other reviewers said the fabric was soft. To me it was indeed heavy, too heavy, and was more roughly-textured that I expected. Not what I call soft.
I liked the quality of the construction though, and these issues ultimately shouldn’t count against the product itself. Size chart just needs some adjustment, and the fabric issues are just my own preferences.

Perfect fit
These T-shirts are a perfect fit both before washing and after. Cotton can be a worrisome as it can shrink in the wash. These shirts didn’t shrink at all. The color was as bright after washing as it was before.
