Designers use Pantone colors so they can be absolutely sure of the colors they use for company logos, custom apparel, printed marketing, and more Pencil with leopard print bye bye kindergarten hello summer shirt . Not only are Pantone colors convenient, but they also ensure that you represent your brand consistently. For example, you don’t want the colors in your logo to be different on your website from how they appear on promotional products or invoices to customers. It’s important to understand that different types of light can affect how we perceive color. For example, how a color looks on your computer screen could be very different from how it’ll look on an embroidered jacket. By using Pantone colors, you can be sure that the colors in your design are consistent with your brand and across all mediums. If you plan to have custom embroidered hats or custom polo shirts for your company, you’ll need to check the thread manufacturer’s companion book. Within the book, you’ll find all the thread colors they offer along with their matching Pantone colors. Thread manufacturing companies stock the most popular colors, which means you might have difficulty finding the exact shade you need for your custom embroidery. If this is the case, we recommend picking the color that best matches your Pantone shade. If the color is close enough, the vast majority of people won’t notice the difference between the color used in embroidered shirts and the actual Pantone hue. Keep in mind that different lighting can also affect how people perceive color.
If you are interested in t-shirt screen printing, you’ll be happy to know that ink colors can be mixed to match the exact Pantone colors you need. However, it’s also possible to get ink for t-shirt printing that comes already mixed. It’s important to know that the color that appears on screen print shirts and other apparel may look different based on what material it’s being printed on. Depending on your design, a t-shirt printing company may also need to print a white base which can affect how the color will look.

Great quality, but order a size up.
After an inspection of the clothing they appear to be made quite well. There were no openings in the seems, no loose/unraveling threads, no tears, or stains.

Unfortunately, even with measuring myself before ordering, they did not fit. I ordered medium, in accordance to their sizing chart, but it felt much too tight. Almost like it was trying to be a muscle shirt. So, order a size bigger and you should be good there.

Finally, I learned I don’t like “heavy cotton.” A lot of other reviewers said the fabric was soft. To me it was indeed heavy, too heavy, and was more roughly-textured that I expected. Not what I call soft.

I liked the quality of the construction though, and these issues ultimately shouldn’t count against the product itself. Size chart just needs some adjustment, and the fabric issues are just my own preferences.
